Having been involved with the music industry for over 11 years, and at the forefront of the UAE’s electronic music scene for almost 6 of those, Mike ‘Mr Mr’ Bufton has proven that demand for fresh upfront and emerging music is still high on the regions agenda, successfully running & DJ’ing at Dubai’s longest standing 10 hour weekly event - audio tonic ‘Sunset Sessions’ @ 360º (every Friday), and of course producing/presenting his seminal weekly two hour Thursday night show on Radio 1 UAE, audio tonic – “adding the vital ingredient to your weekend” (6 years in May 2012)

His efforts have gained him a solid and respected reputation, which have not gone unnoticed. In 2010, he came in at No 5 in the DJ Mag Middle East Top 50 DJ Poll, and was voted as ‘Best Local DJ’ in the Timeout Nightlife Awards. His night at 360º has been largely responsible for earning the venue a DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs of the world status, for 2 successive years, and won the accolade as Best House Music Night at the Timeout Nightlife Awards (2011). The night has also progressed to one of the finest spots in the capital Abu Dhabi, at Sea Lounge, Monte Carlo Beach Club every Thursday night. He has also been an official adidas Originals Brand Ambassador for over 4 years.
